This Week in PA
Greetings from the PA Crew! We were given a little taste of fall this past week, the crew enjoyed humid free days and crisp clean air! This time of year is certainly a reminder that yes - winter is right around the corner. We so appreciate the successful Blanket and Sweater Drive for our animals, Thank you Robin Holmes Bell and Donna Delgrosso for spear heading this event and ensuring RDRNE pups have the necessary supplies to keep warm on a cold winter's day! The generosity and kindness extended to our animals awaiting homes has been so appreciated. If you would like to make a donation to our animals awaiting homes, you can visit their Amazon Wish List here, the pups appreciate the gifts and so does rescue!!
Checking in on Belle:
Work continues at the facility, and it's nice to see the results. Watching our little Belle explore her new Winter indoor play area this past week; she does enjoy her outside play
pen, but as Winter approaches and given Belle's need to be out and about, lol, it was necessary to make sure she had fun and WARM digs to hang out in!!! Belle has truly blossomed into an awesome girl! She continues to amaze us with her quick learning skills and now motors the facility property quite easily - of course smelling everything she can! Belle has really mastered leash walking now and she dearly loves a nice walk about to check everything out! It was awesome this week to see her and another resident homeless pup, Snoopy, play. :) It's the small things that bring us great joy as we watch all these animals interact with each other and enjoy life. If you would like to keep up with Belle's progress, please like and visit her Facebook page, "Being Belle, a Blind and Deaf Pittie". It's animals like Belle that gives us all hope and inspiration. With determination, hope and surrounding yourself with love, anything is possible!!
Checking in on Candy:
Candy was our spotlight pup last blog. I can't express enough what an amazing girl Candy is.. she truly enjoys life and just loves to play, but is definitely a cuddle buddy whenever
possible. lol. Candy went with rescue to the "Bikers for Bini" event last Sunday, and wow what an exciting and successful event for rescue and our animals. Candy had a blast and was such a good girl. We were so proud of her!! We so hope that this special girl finds a much deserved home soon. Candy is 2 years old, altered, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. She is good with kids and dogs but Candy says no kitties please! If you are looking for a fun filled girl that loves life, then Candy would make an awesome addition to your home. Please consider fostering or adopting sweet Candy. Fill out an application at www.rdrne.org. She's so ready to go HOME!!
RDRNE Spotlight Pup is Maddie.
Maddie is a special little bull terrier mix. She needs a confident and experienced person to love her and Maddie will reward that person with unconditional love. She is a very deep and sensitive girl! :) Maddie was an NYCACC dog that RDRNE took into rescue given her private adopter did not work out. Unfortunately they were not experienced with the breed :(. We have watched Maddie blossom into a confident and happy girl. All she is lacking now is a family to call her own. Maddie is 2 years old, altered, chipped and up to date on shots. We would recommend a home where Maddie is the one and only and no children. She is a quiet little girl that loves to cuddle but does enjoy a romp about on a beautiful day. If you would like more information on Maddie please email Tereruffrescue@gmail.com or fill out an application at www.rdrne.org. Maddie has a special place in our hearts, we hope she'll find one in yours! :)
We are happy to share that our little brindle boy, Clive is going out to a foster to adopt family.
It's always heart-warming to see these pups experience the one on one love that they all yearn for. Although the pups are content while the patiently await a home, there is nothing like having their own home, so please visit our website and Facebook page for more information on each of our animals awaiting homes. If you can't foster or adopt, you might consider sponsoring a homeless dog in rescue. Please email Tereruffrescue@gmail.com for more information on how you can make a difference in one our homeless animal’s life.
So, it's in closing that the rest of the crew, Peanut, Snoopy, Sadie aka Precious, Sandy, Narisse, Abbey, Mila, Belle, Daisy, and Monty remind you, they are here and eagerly awaiting that special person to say, YOU ARE THE ONE FOR US! Please consider opening your heart and home to one of our amazing homeless animals. Each and every one of these little souls deserve a family :). Thank you for visiting with us and until next time! xoxoxo Tere and the pa crew!
