Fall Has Arrived in PA!

Greetings from the PA Crew! The Crew says “Brrrrrrr.. Fall has truly arrived”, as sweaters were needed this week.

The RDRNE dogs say “Thank you for making sure that every one of them received a warm sweater, jacket and blanket for the winter! Your kindness and generosity is so greatly appreciated, :)”

RDRNE is one of the few rescues with their own facility. All of our dogs are housed and taken care of by me and the dedicated rescue volunteers that visit us. I’m sure you understand- being alone, funds and supplies are limited. If you would like to make a donation for our dogs that need homes, please click here to visit their wish list on Amazon, any item is appreciated and much needed.

We also would so appreciate any donation towards some facility winter survival needs. We are fortunate to have a 40x40 building that we are converting into an indoor play area this the winter for the dogs, and your donation of any of the following items will ensure they stay happy, safe and warm on a cold winter's day.

Generator

  • Snow Blower

  • Kennel Cages for our indoor building

  • Crates

  • Kuranda Beds (elevated beds)

  • Enclosed Car Trailer - for picking up donated food and items for our animals

  • Wood or Pellet Stoves

  • 6' fencing - approximately 500ft is needed

For more information on our facility or if you might assist us with any of these winter survival items needed by rescue, please email terefuffrescue@gmail.com.

Checking in on Belle

Belle truly loves these cool days-she loves to wander and explore the outdoor property from the safety of her 75' run line. She is a little miracle, and has learned so much! Her progress in the last few months has been joyful to witness…

Belle says “Don't feel bad that I am blind and deaf because I am very happy”! We hope our little girl will one day have a home of her very own. A home that understands her special needs; but until then she will enjoy each and every day with us, loved, safe and happy. :) If you would like to follow Belle's progress, please visit her facebook page, "Being Belle, A Blind Deaf Pittie".

Checking in on Maddie

Maddie blog.jpg

Maddie oh Maddie.. one of our dearly loved pups at RDRNE.. Maddie was our spotlight RDRNE pup last week, and she's still in need of a foster or adopter. Although dearly loved during her stay here at our facility, Maddie so deserves and yearns for a home of her own. She's a NYCACC death row survivor, 2 years old, bull terrier mix, altered, up to date and micro-chipped. Maddie loves to cuddle and offers her family unconditional love. Maddie would do best in a home where she is the one and only; no dogs or cats and rescue recommends older children. Please consider opening your heart and home to this special girl, fill out an application at www.rdrne.org.

Spotlight RDRNE Pup is Daisy! Daisy is such a fun loving girl! Always with a wagging tail, she's ready to go outside! Daisy would make an ideal running or hiking companion. Our girl is 2 years old, up to date, altered and micro-chipped! Daisy would be happiest in a home without other dogs, no cats and older kids, given her play with toys. Daisy also enjoys cuddling on the sofa, simply enjoying her people. Has awesome house manners, crate and house trained and super on a leash. Please consider this sweet girl, fill out an application to foster or adopt at www.rdrne.org.

Exciting News of homed RDRNE Pups! Thanks to your avocation, two of our pups found forever homes since our last blog post. Abbey and Mila are now enjoying the one on one love only found in their very own homes! Mila and her new family are pictured below:

We are so thrilled that these pups, who so deserve a family, have their ultimate wish, A LOVING HOME!!! For us, a priceless moment, and makes all our hard work so worth it! Happy Tails kids! xo :)

In closing, we want each and every one of you to understand that we are only able to do what we do with your support! So thank you for helping us help these awesome dogs. Peanut, Snoopy, Belle, Narise, Sandy, Daisy, Maddie, Candy, Monty and Sadie - The PA Crew. We really do make a difference in these animals lives. If you would like more information about our rescue, our facility or our animals, please email tereruffrescue@gmail.com and please visit and like our facebook page Ruff Dog Rescue North East.

Until next week, xoxoxo Tere and the PA Crew. :)
